Abstarct – Abstarct – The SOLAR POWERED GRIN MONITORING USING IOT functions as an intelligent energy cycle where the Arduino acts as the decision-making brain, bridge, and data logger. Initially, the solar panel converts sunlight into electrical energy, monitored by voltage sensors and an LDR to assess environmental conditions. The Arduino calculates the efficiency ratio between light intensity and actual voltage; if this ratio falls below a pre-set threshold, the “Dusty Panel” logic is triggered, notifying the user that maintenance is required. On the load side, the transistor-based multivibrator creates a high-frequency switching signal that allows the transformer to step up low-voltage DC into high-voltage AC for the LED bulb. To implement the IoT layer, an ESP8266 or ESP32 (connected via Serial or used as the primary controller) captures these sensor values—voltage, temperature, and fire safety status—and transmits them over Wi-Fi using the MQTT protocol. These data points are then pushed to the Adafruit IO cloud, where they are visualized on a custom dashboard featuring real-time gauges and historical line graphs. This allows for proactive grid management, such as receiving a mobile alert the moment the flame sensor detects a hazard or the battery voltage drops too low.
