The system intelligently controls the lights based on the presence of students, turning them on and off automatically to save energy. Additionally, it has a temperature-based fan control feature, which adjusts the fan speed or turns it on/off according to the room’s temperature, further optimizing power usage. A unique aspect of this project is its safety and efficiency feature: it uses an IR module to monitor the toilet’s occupancy time. If a person spends more than a predetermined ‘normal’ amount of time inside, the system triggers an alert, ensuring timely assistance or awareness of a potential issue.
