Abstarct – The system utilizes two Current Transformers (CTs): one placed at the sending end (Pole A) and another at the receiving end (Pole B). Under normal conditions, the current measured by both CTs is identical. However, if power theft occurs via a “hook” or illegal connection between these two points, a current imbalance is created ($I_{S} \neq I_{R}$).The Arduino continuously monitors the analog outputs from these CTs; when the difference exceeds a pre-defined threshold, the microcontroller identifies it as theft. It immediately triggers a Buzzer for local auditing and updates the 1LCD to display the “Theft Detected” status. To prevent further loss, the Arduino signals a BT136 Triac (part of the Solid State Relay circuit) to disconnect the load. Simultaneously, it transmits an alert signal via the HC-05 Bluetooth module to a dedicated Android application, allowing remote monitoring and data logging.
