Abstarct – The Automatic Room Temperature Controller is an embedded system designed to maintain a comfortable indoor environment by regulating a cooling fan based on real-time thermal data. Utilizing an Arduino as the central processing unit, the system interfaces with an LM35 analog sensor to monitor ambient temperature with high precision. When the detected temperature exceeds a user-defined threshold (adjustable between 20°C and 40°C), the Arduino triggers a TRIAC-based relay circuit to activate a DC fan. This setup ensures energy efficiency by only operating the fan when necessary, while a 16×2 LCD provides a continuous visual readout of both the current temperature and the set limit. By employing a TRIAC for switching, the system benefits from silent, solid-state operation compared to traditional mechanical relays.
