Abstract – This smart school model using Arduino is designed to enhance safety, security, and energy efficiency. It features a student counter using IR sensors to track entries and exits, which in turn controls the classroom lights, ensuring they’re only on when occupied. For security, a biometric system with a fingerprint scanner and Bluetooth module authenticates student entry and sends an SMS alert to parents upon arrival. To address hygiene and safety, a delay counter in the toilet alerts the principal if a student spends an unusually long time inside. The model also includes a fire detection system that automatically triggers a fire alarm and an auto-slider, and a clever midday meal protection system is integrated to prevent contamination from lizards. Overall, this project creates an intelligent, safe, and automated learning environment.
