Abstract – For a school project focused on road accident prevention in sensitive zones, an integrated system can be designed. It begins with a U-turn alert mechanism using switches on the left side of the road to activate a warning sign when a vehicle attempts a risky maneuver. To control speed, a driver alerting system uses a Hall Effect sensor and a magnet placed before school areas and speed breakers; each trigger plays a distinct musical tone on a buzzer to forewarn the driver. Furthermore, sustainable energy is harnessed by installing a roller-based speed breaker connected to a dynamo, which converts the kinetic energy of passing vehicles into electricity. This generated power can then be used to illuminate street lights or charge the alerting system itself, creating a self-sufficient safety solution.
