Product Description
This working model of a sewage treatment plant begins with primary screening, where a small mesh filter removes large solid debris from the incoming wastewater. The water then flows into a coagulation tank where a coagulant is added, causing tiny particles to clump together. In the subsequent flocculation chamber, a gentle stirrer helps these clumps, or flocs, form larger, heavier masses. These settle out in the sedimentation tank, where a simple DC motor-powered arm skims floating oil and grease from the surface. The clearer water at the top is then pumped through a layered sand filter to trap any remaining fine particles. Finally, the treated water is collected in a storage tank, from where a small pump distributes it for safe reuse, demonstrating the complete cycle from waste to purified water.
