Abstarct – This kit is available as a ready-to-assemble school project kit. Solar drip irrigation is a modern farming technique that uses solar energy to operate a water pump and supply water directly to the roots of plants. This project demonstrates how solar power can be used to save electricity and water in agriculture. The model consists of a solar panel printout, a 9V battery, a DC water pump, a water tank, and a drip irrigation pipeline. When the pump is switched on, water is pumped into the tank and supplied to the plants through small pipes and connectors. Water droplets fall near the roots of the plants, reducing water wastage. A microswitch is provided to help control the pump and reduce unnecessary battery consumption. The model also represents a farmer, a well, a pump house, and a green agricultural field.
