Abstarct – This IoT-based solar wireless EV charging system utilizes a NodeMCU ESP8266 controller to monitor power generation and manage automated charging. The A0 analog pin measures input solar voltage, which is doubled and processed for system metrics, ensuring precise energy tracking. When an IR sensor on pin D5 detects an incoming electric vehicle, the controller triggers a HIGH output signal on pin D7 to activate the wireless charging transmitter. During active charging, the system simulates a 12mA current draw at a stable 3.7V battery voltage, whereas no current flows when the charging bay is empty. All telemetry data is periodically uploaded every 8 seconds via MQTT to the Adafruit IO cloud platform to avoid API rate limiting and enable remote dashboard monitoring.
