Abstarct – This project visually narrates the journey of rice from farm to table using a sunboard model. It begins with a farmer ploughing the vast rice field, preparing the land for cultivation. The next scene depicts the crucial stage of harvesting the mature golden paddy. The harvested crop then moves to the rice processing unit, where it is threshed, milled, and cleaned. The final product, packaged rice, is transported to the bustling local market for sale. A miniature vehicle signifies this vital transport link. From the market, the rice is purchased and brought into the heart of the home: the kitchen. Here, the model shows a cooking station where the rice is being prepared. The journey culminates at the dining table, where a family gathers to share a meal. This sequential diorama highlights the interconnected stages and the immense effort behind our daily food.
