Abstarct – This comprehensive Arduino-based disaster management system integrates multiple sensors for early detection of various natural calamities. The project utilizes a water level sensor with float switches for flood monitoring, a piezo vibration sensor for earthquake tremors, a DC motor configured as a wind dynamo for cyclone speed detection, and a thermistor for temperature-based forest fire alerts. Each sensor is connected to individual LED indicators (red for critical, yellow for warning) while a 16×2 LCD display provides real-time parameter readings and status updates. The system employs an HC-05 Bluetooth module to transmit alert SMS messages to an Android device via a custom Bluetooth application when any sensor crosses predefined thresholds. A piezoelectric buzzer generates audible alarms during emergency situations, and the entire setup operates on battery power with radio communication capabilities for reliable operation during power outages. This integrated approach ensures continuous environmental monitoring with immediate visual, audible, and digital notifications, making it particularly suitable for disaster-prone areas where early warning can significantly mitigate damage and save lives through timely evacuations and preparedness measures.
