Product Description
Abstract – This innovative model demonstrates a solar-powered automatic street light system using simple electronics. A small solar panel charges a battery during the day, which acts as the power source. The core component is an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor), whose resistance changes with light intensity. This LDR is connected to a transistor that acts as an electronic switch. When daylight falls on the LDR, its low resistance keeps the transistor switched off, and the LED street lights remain unlit. As dusk falls, the LDR’s resistance increases, triggering the transistor to switch on. This action completes the circuit and automatically illuminates the LED lights. The charming miniature setup, featuring paper houses and artificial trees, effectively showcases how this energy-efficient circuit provides light only when needed, perfectly simulating a real-world smart lighting application.
