Product Description
An automatic solar irrigation system using Arduino operates independently by utilizing alternative control circuitry. A soil moisture sensor acts as the trigger, sending a signal when dryness exceeds a set threshold. This signal activates a transistor which functions as the system’s brain. The control circuit then switches on a submersible water pump, powered directly by a solar panel or a battery charged by it. Once the sensor detects sufficient moisture, it sends another signal to break the circuit and turn the pump off. This efficient setup conserves both water and energy by harnessing renewable solar power. It provides a cost-effective, low-maintenance solution for gardens and farms, ensuring plants receive water only when necessary.
