Beyond basic vitals, the system features a specialized non-invasive saline level monitoring unit to prevent complications like air embolisms when IV fluids run low. By utilizing the Adafruit IO platform, medical professionals can access patient data from any location, while an integrated OLED display provides immediate local feedback. The system is equipped with an intelligent alarm mechanism that triggers a buzzer during critical events, such as high fever, sensor disconnection, or depleted saline. This proactive approach ensures that emergencies are addressed instantly, minimizing human error in clinical settings. Ultimately, the project demonstrates how low-cost sensors and cloud computing can create a reliable, scalable, and lifesaving medical assistant.
