Abstract – This laser security system for a cardboard model house uses a laser beam as an invisible tripwire. The laser module is positioned to fire a beam that bounces off the four mirrors arranged around the property, strategically passing by trees and finally landing on the LDR (Light Dependent Resistor). Under normal conditions, this continuous light beam keeps the LDR’s resistance low, allowing a small current to keep the transistor switched off. However, if an intruder crosses the beam path, the light is interrupted, causing the LDR’s resistance to suddenly increase. This change triggers the transistor to activate, completing the circuit for the buzzer. The transistor acts as an electronic switch, amplifying the small current change from the LDR to power the loud buzzer, which immediately sounds the alarm, securing the miniature house.
