Automatic room temp controller

gets switched off andif temp decreases setpoint, then the load gets switched ON. In this project,the load is representedby a lamp and a dc fan for demonstration purpose. Thedisplay unit consists of a16*2 lines LCD display which is interfaced to themicrocontroller of the 8051family. A digital temperature sensor is interfacedto the microcontroller forsensing temperature conditions through an ADC.Microcontroller continuouslypolls the temperature information through adigital temperature sensor and ADCand displays it over display unit andautomatically switches off/on the l, whenthe corresponding temperature exceedsset point, to resume again while thetemperature falls below another set point.

Automatic college bell

This Project takesoverthe task of Ringing of the Bell in Colleges. It replaces the ManualSwitchingof the Bell in the College. It has an Inbuilt Real Time Clock (DS1307)whichtracks over the Real Time. When this time equals to the Bell Ringing time,thenthe Relay for the Bell is switched on. The Bell Ringing time can be editedatany Time, so that it can be used at Normal Class Timings as well as ExamTimes.The Real Time Clock is displayed on four 7-segment display. TheMicrocontrollerAT89S51 is used to control all the Functions, it get the timethrough thekeypad and store it in its Memory. And when the Real time and Belltime getequal then the Bell is switched on for a predetermined time.

Automatic Pneumatic breaking system (mech)

Thetechnology ofpneumatics plays a major role in the field of automation andmodern machineshops and space robots.. The aim is to design and develop acontrol system basedintelligent electronically controlled automotive breakactivation and automaticbraking system is called AUTOMATIC PNEUMATIC BREAKACTUATION BEFORE COLLISION.This project consists of Ultrasonic transmitter andReceiver circuit, ControlUnit, Pneumatic break system and pneumatic brakingsystem. The ultrasonic sensorsenses the obstacle. There is any obstacle closerto the vehicle (within 3-4feet), the control signal is given to the break activationsystem and alsopneumatic braking system simultaneously. The pneumatic breakand braking systemis used to product the man and vehicle. This break andbraking activation systemis only activated the vehicle speed above 30-40 kmper hour. This vehicle speedis sensed by the proximity sensor and this signalis given to the control unitand pneumatic break and braking activation system.

Automatic water tap control using ultrasonic sensor (Mechanical)

In this project weare goingto sense hand by using ultrasonic sensors. Basic principalof ultrasonicdistance measurement is based on ECHO. When sound wavesare transmitted inenvironment then they return back to the origin as ECHOafter striking on anyobstacle. So we have to only calculate its traveling timeof both sounds meansoutgoing time and returning time to origin after strikingon any obstacle by a8051 microcontroller. And after some calculation we canget a result that is thedistance. This concept is used in our tap controllerproject where the watermotor pump is automatically turned on when hand comesnear to the tab. You canalso check this simple water level indicatorcircuit for a simplerversion of this project. Here the pump is controlledthrough a solid staterelay. Ultrasonic sensor is the input device and LCDrelay is the output device.This setup is [placed on a fabricated stand.

Electricity using speed breaker (Mechanical project)

Themechanism used in the assembly is rack andpinion mechanism. It convertsreciprocating motion into rotary motion. Here, therack is the elementproducing reciprocating motion and pinion rotates due tothis reciprocatingmotion. The rack is displaced vertically due to the weight ofthe vehiclepassing on the speed breaker and thus it reciprocates (M. Ramadan,et al,2015). As the rack reciprocates, it turns the pinion to rotate. The rackis theflat part which has teeth, while the pinion is a gear. 

Advantagesof rack and pinion mechanism

a.    This assembly gives good mounting convenience.

b.   Gearlosses are maximum up to 5%.

c.    Approximate efficiency of rack and pinion mechanism is about95%.
