Product Description
Abstract – This integrated smart agriculture system utilizes an Arduino as the central controller. The soil moisture sensor triggers a water pump when dryness is detected, ensuring auto-irrigation. For temperature control, the LM35 sensor activates a cooling fan if the ambient temperature exceeds a set threshold. Security is provided by a piezo vibration sensor on the fence; any disturbance sounds a loud buzzer alarm. A rain sensor initiates two actions: it triggers a servo motor to close a protective roof over sensitive crops and simultaneously deactivates the irrigation pump to conserve water. A 16×2 LCD continuously displays real-time status of all parameters like soil moisture, temperature, and system alerts (e.g., “RAINING” or “INTRUDER ALERT”). The buzzer provides audible warnings for both the security breach and significant operational changes. All components are interconnected on a breadboard, powered appropriately, and managed through a single, consolidated Arduino sketch that reads all sensors and controls the actuators efficiently, creating a cohesive automated farming solution.
